California HS football player arrested on suspicion of using fake birth certificate

 

A 19-year-old who played for the Montclair Secondary School football crew this month was captured for this present week on doubt of presenting a distorted report to the school that permitted him to play for the group, the Chaffey Joint Association Secondary School Region said in a proclamation delivered Friday evening.


As per police records, Elijah Nathaniel Frisco was captured Thursday by the Montclair Police Division and booked at the West Valley Detainment Center in Rancho Cucamonga on charges of distorting his introduction to the world declaration.


Frisco, who purportedly utilized the name Eihly Cheung to select at Montclair and play football, had proactively graduated secondary school, as indicated by Chaffey Joint Association Secondary School Region Administrator Mathew Holton.
After the Montclair football crew crushed Pomona 32-20 on Sept. 2, there were investigates online entertainment that Montclair could have utilized a player who had previously graduated. The school quickly began an examination.
Holton put out an announcement Friday saying that the 19-year-old was captured for purportedly distorting himself when he selected at the school.


"Montclair Secondary School organization was told late Friday, September 2, 2022, that a player on the Montclair Secondary School football crew was supposedly a 19-year-old who previously finished secondary school," Holton composed. "School authorities reached the guardians of the person to look for data with respect to the charges.
"Following correspondence with the guardians, the Locale advised Montclair Police Division, and policing started an examination. Montclair Police established that the individual distorted himself in the enlistment cycle to play football, and he was captured for submitting misrepresented reports to the school.


"School authorities will keep on helping out policing we will work with the California Interscholastic League to decide any potential ramifications to the program because of the ineligible player."
As indicated by sources acquainted with everything going on, the player selected at Montclair last year and was with the football crew for parts of the 2021 season. Thus, sources say, Montclair will relinquish five football match-ups from 2021, and one against Pomona this season.
Montclair will relinquish games in 2021 to Laborer, Wilson, West Valley, San Gabriel and South Pasadena, making its 2021 record go from 9-5 to 4-10.
"Montclair Secondary School and the Chaffey Joint Association Secondary School Locale self-revealed an infringement of CIF Standing rules and have made a restorative move," CIF-SS partner chief Thom Simmons said.
Following Montclair's triumph over Pomona, there were a few web-based entertainment reports that blamed Montclair for utilizing an over-age player who purportedly played at Pomona Secondary School as a senior in 2020.
Montclair football trainer Martin Bacon answered the online entertainment reports when the allegations surfaced, saying his school would investigate what is happening. He denied allegations that he had any part in some unacceptable doing.
"Leading this, is the main I'm hearing this and to believe that myself as a mentor and Montclair as a program would follow through with something like that is insane," Bacon answered by means of his Twitter account. "Second as a school we will make quick work of this cause that is the best thing to do. I say that."
